KIWANIS IS COLLECTING FOR IKE DISASTER RELIEF

 

Wantagh, NY - The Kiwanis Clubs in the Long Island South Central Division of the New York District of Kiwanis International are collecting disaster relief items for the victims of Hurricane Ike. The drop-off point in Wantagh will be 2093 Wantagh Ave. – The Mid-Island Medical stores between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road.

Items needed are

Non-perishable food items (Canned Goods [soups, beans, vegetables, spaghettios, etc], Pastas, Mac & Cheese, Rice, flour, sugar, salt, etc.)

All kinds of cleaning supplies (Paper Towels, rubber gloves, sponges, buckets, rags, Spic-N-Span, Detergents, soaps, etc.)

All kinds of toiletries (toilet paper, sanitary napkins, diapers, Depends, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soaps, wash clothes, etc.)

Baby Food as well as Diapers/wipes , etc are also needed.

Bottled Water from individual sizes on up.

Generally whatever we can ship without refrigeration.

PLEASE NO FURNITURE AND NO CLOTHING.

Any check donations should be made out to N. Y. District Kiwanis Relief Fund (write disaster relief on memo line at bottom left of the check) and sent to
