Hey Everyone,
I am proud to announce that the Long Island Circle K Division is hosting a huge Kiwanis Family Service Day for all of Long Island. Our event will be on Saturday October 10, 2009 and we will be meeting at the Levittown Public Library at 9:30am and will be going on until 5pm. That day we will be breaking up into teams with representatives from each branch on each team. We will then be participating in three different service projects, with a competitive twist. First we will start at the Levittown Public Library by making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for a local food pantry, then we will be shuttling people over to a local bird sanctuary for a clean up, and we will end the day back at the Library making Boo-Boo Bunnies with our local Aktion Club.
This is going to be the largest service project for the Long Island Circle K Division this year, and we are really looking for your support. I have attached a flyer about the event so that you can all distribute it to your clubs. We really need support from every branch of the Kiwanis Family, and the best part is the whole day is free, I just need you to show up, be ready to work, and bring your Kiwanis Family and Friends.
I really hope to see you all there. If you have any questions please let me know.
Yours in Service,
Rickie Santer
